Delivery

FAB Hardware delivers to Republic of Ireland only.

Note: Please note that large parcels are delivered on a pallet outside your location.

We deliver your orders from Monday to Friday using our trusted third-party couriers. After placing an order, we aim to dispatch it from our warehouse within 2 to 4 working days, depending on stock availability. You can expect to receive your items within 7 to 10 working days once dispatched. Please note that we don't deliver on weekends or bank holidays.

We do one delivery per order. For example if your order has a special order product with a long lead time, we will dispatch once everything is in stock. However, we can arrange for separate deliveries at further costs. For this service please contact us.  We will advise you of expected lead times.

Click & Collect

You can also collect your order from our shop.  Please select the "Pick up" option at the checkout if you wish to collect your order. All collections must be made during shop opening hours. 

As soon as your order is placed, you will receive an emailed order confirmation. Please wait until you have received an emailed fulfilment notice before collecting from our shop.

Place of Delivery, Deadlines, Report Damaged or Missing Items

Once your order leaves our shop, you will receive an email informing you that your order has been shipped.  A delay in delivery will not authorise a cancellation.

An order will not be dispatched until all item are in stock. As a result, extended lead times due to special order products may impact on the delivery time line. Upon request, separate deliveries can be arranged for an additional fee.

FAB Hardware will not be liable for delivery errors if the delivery address entered in the order form is incorrect or incomplete. If you provide an address the courier deems insufficient, the shipment will be returned to our facility. Once we have confirmed an updated address, you will be responsible for reshipment costs.

Various shipping methods can be used depending on the order's destination.

FAB Hardware will notify you of any delivery delays.

Each delivery is considered complete once the order is delivered at the given address.

Delivery delays will not be considered if the order was made available to you by the transport company within the agreed time frame but could not be delivered due to reasons attributable to you.

Please ensure that there is clear access to the specified delivery location. As impediments may impact how close your home the delivery can be made.

Our delivery partners cannot carry any material into your property for insurance, health, and safety regulations. As your delivery will most likely include heavy items, it is advisable to have assistance to load the goods into your property.

Please check your items once they have been delivered.  You must notify us within 48 hours if any products received are damaged, faulty, or incomplete or if any items are missing from your order..  Please notify us via email, quoting your order number for reference. Please open each box and check thoroughly for damages. Claims for damages or missing items cannot be processed if not notified within 48 hours of delivery. 

All claims pertaining to missing items or damages must be submitted via email to info@fabhardware.ie within the specified time frames, accompanied by clear images of the damaged/missing items.

Failed Deliveries & Loss of Product

We will contact you and initiate a series of follow-up actions to ensure delivery occurs.

If the order has not been redelivered within 7 working days after a failed delivery, you should contact us at info@fabhardware.ie.

Failure to do so will result in the order being returned to us and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping and return to the origin, as well as any associated costs.

If the failure to deliver is the loss of the order, the courier service agent will launch an investigation. In these cases, response times range from 1 to 3 weeks, and any errors on our part will result in the redelivery of the product or the issuing of a refund.

Deliveries that go unclaimed are returned to our shop and you will be liable for the cost of a reshipment.
